Vicki Teague Cooper
Vicki Teague-Cooper is first and foremost an artist. Her creations are beautiful and her C.V. is impressive. She shares her artistic self with local businesses through Home Planet Studio, where she specializes in print design. She creates logos, graphic identity packages, book designs, book jacket designs, product package designs, advertisements, brochures, posters, etc. Vicki has done work for museums, small and large companies, nonprofit organizations, and individuals. In 2014, when I first began my consulting business (under the name Alexis Brown Creative Communications Consulting), Vicki graciously designed my logo, the colors of which have influenced my current branding.
Vicki moved to New Mexico from the East Village nearly 30 years ago. Those two worlds can be seen in her style, which seamlessly blends a clean and modern aesthetic with natural or old-world elements. Her designs can also be quite playful and fun - as can she - probably because she spent four years as a Paper Engineer & Designer for a pop-up book company.
One of the things I love most about Vicki's work is her mastery of color and her willingness to do branding a bit differently. She does not stick to mainstream palettes, but chooses vibrant and playful color combinations that make her designs memorable. (Another thing I love - or covet - is her impressive collection of fonts.) Besides her talent, Vicki is great to work with. She is flexible and patient and there's always humor to be found.. She is efficient, so projects don't drag on, and she does everything within her power to make the design process fun and low stress. She also thinks strategically; she is able to solve problems through developing creative solutions.
There are so many graphic designers to choose from. Vicki Teague-Cooper is a true artist, who listens and thinks about your needs and your goals, and works strategically to help you accomplish those goals. I'm blessed to call her a friend and partner, and I enthusiastically encourage you to consider working with her. When it comes to branding your business, you should work with the best.
